on U.S. Hwy. 290 five miles out of Stonewall and about 10 minutes from
Fredericksburg where you can shop " 'til-you-drop." We are just a
"hop-skip-and-a-jump" from Luckenbach and there are many attractions
within short driving distance. Blumenthal Farms backs up to the meandering
Pedernales River. You may stroll down to the river and look for the beaver
or wade in the cool shallow waters. Come visit the beautiful Hill Country
area and relax in a rustic old German-built saloon. East Texas Room
Located in the youngest saloon built in 1908. It has a queen-size bed and a private bath that has a tub/shower combination. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and a TV/V.C.R. that is V.C.R. capable only. You are served a full breakfast in the host's home. South of the Border Room
Located in the 1908 saloon. It has the original high pressed tin ceilings to give it a feel of history. It has its own private bath with a tub/shower combination. A full breakfast is served. Pedernales Suite
Newer section of the youngest saloon. It has a comfortable sitting area, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a private bath with a whirlpool tub for two. A full breakfast is included in the price of the room. The Studio
The Studio is one large room located in the oldest saloon that was built in 1900. It has 2 queen-size beds and a private bath that has an old fashioned claw foot bathtub. |
